This band smokes hot FIRE! Their Afrobeat always reminds me of Fela Kuti. They are a powerful band of well-accomplished musicians who lay down the Afro-groove unlike any other!!
Favorite track: Sweet Tooth.
Yet another example of interesting album-cover artwork forcing me to listen to a band I'd never heard of, and being knocked out by the sounds therein. Gotta mention Vinny Naro as the cover artist, just because.
And what an album! It's big, it's mean, it's a badass sound machine!!
Favorite track: Junkies Everywhere.

A thunderous dance party that fuses Afrobeat, Funk, Latin and Psychedelia, BMSM is constantly charting new territory. With their latest, independently-produced album "Runnin' for the Ghost," the band is poised to continue its exponential growth, uniting people and genres along the way.
This whole album is filled with a wonderful energetic quality while also being unobtrusive in a way that makes it easy to focus on work or reading.
The standout track for me is March of the Idiots. Future Ancestors is excellent as well.
The whole thing inspires me to think of it as the soundtrack to some movie from the 1970s. A Becker
